The European Open Day gives the possibility to all Schools to present
themselves in International scenery in a complete way.



Schools have at their disposition Exhibition Space and information stands to present themselves.

For a complete presentation, Schools can organize:
  1. conferences on different themes;

  2. projects or lines of projects to be developed in common;

  3. range of experiences combining school and work;

  4. offer of formation stages.



Purpose of the European Open Day

  1. to build up focused twinning;

  2. to build up an European Schools network, enrolling at which, a school will be able to access to cultural exchanges, increasing, for this reason, the level of internationalization of its institute;

  3. cultural exchanges.










Cultural exchanges

In the European modern School, there is an increasing need to connect schools reciprocally, especially on an international level, to allow cultural exchanges for students.

Cultural exchanges allow to:

  1. break down all mental and cultural barriers that separate our nations and build the real European citizenship;

  2. improve the language skills of foreign language;

  3. offer personal experiences of great growth on an educational, cultural and human plan;

  4. the possibility to build new relations of friendship in different nations that will permit to all the students to socialize with mates of different places, and have a future full of opportunities (travelling abroad supported by friends and
    work opportunities);

  5. take responsibility;

  6. new rules to respect and follow, discover new tastes, local traditions and costumes.

Schools must know each other in terms of teaching and education forms, and also they must be open to "new and different thing" and knock down the mental block based upon the diffidence.
