It is a competition that will stimulate the creativity of the students, for the realization of a mascot in digital format (logo type).
Characteristics of which you have to take into account for the design of the image:
- the mascot must be original and clear. It must have distinctive features and a communicative power;
- the mascot could be realized with different techniques, but it will always have to be in color and in digital format;
- the mascot will have to be easily recognizable and allow for easy and immediate understanding, realizing the highest possible cohesion between the appearance and the nature of the event.
Purpose and use of the mascot:
- the mascot winner will become the official symbol of the European Schools' Gala 2015 edition and it will be used on all the promotional material of the event;
- rights of ownership and use of the mascot winner will be of ESCOT - EUROPE and it will be used only for the purpose of promoting the edition of the European Schools' Gala 2015.
Evaluation of projects
The project evaluation will be carried out by an International Jury (consisting of one representative from each participating school), during the European Schools Gala 2014. The International Jury will decide the winning school.
All schools participating in this competition, and registered at the European Schools Gala 2014, will have to send the logo no later than March 8, 2014, by sending the file to: graphic@escot-europe.eu
The works will be exhibited in paper format, during the European Schools Gala 2014, in a specially area set up for them.
Award
The winning school will be rewarded, during the awards ceremony, by a cash prize of € 500.
Furthermore, the winning school will receive a voucher of € 100 suitable for the entry to the European Schools' Gala 2015.
